Home school

Recently, i knew one Mummy who is doing home school with her children.

I came across home school before but i really have not idea how they conduct. So, when i knew this new mummy who is doing  this… so greatlah… i have the chance to knew more about it.

Of course, I am not going to do home school with my 2 boys. Just want to knew for more information.. thats all.

It was an coinccident for this mummy to start  home school. Her husband was transfer to Germany ( Ohh… my boy birth country) for a short period, and she did not plan to send her boy to school due to this reason ( only 1 year ). So she started  home school when their stay in Germany. Up to her surprise, the result was good. And she continue after they came back to Malaysia.

Yesterday, i visited the mummy and would like to know more about this and thet material they use for teaching aid. When i reach her house, the 2 boys was doing their homework. The mummy show me the books, worksheet and some other materials.

According to her, there are 2 main home school syllabus – sonlight and alphaomega. Both of them are ok.. depend on what u what u kids to do. For me, i am more concent on their Englisg subject.

The mummy do show me what they use for thier english syllabus. The kids need to read a fews story books and answer some of the question from the worksheet.  For me, it was great where i am able to use the books  for extra reading  for my boys.

According to the mummy, anyone are able to order the catalouge through the wed site where is FOC. And for thoes who interest… can order from the catalouge according to age and grade.

So mostly, i will order some of books from there… and i will let u knew how is the result..after my boys read the books.
